Whether you're at your home, deer camp, pole barn, hunting property, or another convenient location, I provide clean, efficient, and professional processing without the hassle of transporting your deer to a processor.
About Me
I'm a professional butcher and novice hunter. I began skinning and processing deer in 1997 at Burritt's Market in Traverse City, Michigan, when I was just 16 years old. Many local hunters may recognize me from my 12 seasons there, where I developed the skills and experience that have become the foundation of my business.
Since then, I have personally skinned and processed more than 5,000 deer, along with elk, moose, and caribou. I understand the importance of treating every harvest with respect and returning high-quality meat to every hunter.
My goal is simple: provide professional processing with the same care I'd expect for my own deer.
Mobile Processing
Instead of hauling your deer across town, I bring the processing operation to you.
My mobile setup allows processing to take place near the harvest location, reducing transportation time while helping preserve freshness and meat quality.
I can process deer at:

You can also arrange to drop off your deer, and I'll process it at my location when needed.

Every deer is processed individually, ensuring you receive only your own venison.
Fast Turnaround
Most deer are skinned, processed, vacuum sealed, and packaged in approximately 2½ hours, depending on the size of the animal and any custom processing requested. Elk or bear 4-5 hours.

3rd Deer FREE — How It Works
This promotion is based on the individual hunter and the number of deer that hunter brings me throughout the entire 2026 season. The deer cannot be brought in at the same time. (see hunting party discount below)
For example, if John Doe brings me his first deer, he pays the regular processing price. After his first deer is processed, he will receive my business card with one hole punched in the card, indicating that his first deer has been completed. When he brings me his second deer, he again pays the regular processing price, and I will punch a second hole in the card. When John brings me his third deer during the same 2026 season, the basic processing charge for that third deer is FREE.
Be sure to bring your punched business card with you each time you bring in a deer. Each punched hole represents one deer processed during the 2026 season and allows me to easily track your progress toward your 3rd Deer FREE. If you do not have a punch card, don't worry. I will give you one when the first deer is complete.
I keep track of each hunter’s deer throughout the 2026 season, so your total continues to accumulate regardless of how much time passes between deer.
The FREE 3rd deer applies to standard processing only. Any additional products or ingredients are still charged separately. This includes added beef suet, sausage, or other specialty/add-on products. In other words, the processing on your third deer is free—you are responsible only for whatever extras you choose. The card remains valid until the end of the 2026 season. After your 3rd deer is processed you can receive a new punch card if desired.
Hunting Party Discount
If three or more deer are brought to me together at the same time, that falls under my Hunting Party Discount, not the 3rd Deer FREE promotion. The Hunting Party Discount is 10% off processing for three or more deer brought in together.
So, for example, if John Doe shows up with three deer at once, the third deer is not free. Those three deer qualify for the 10% Hunting Party Discount instead.
The 3rd Deer FREE promotion rewards an individual hunter who successfully harvests and brings me three deer over the course of the season.
Simple version:
1 hunter + 3 deer throughout the season = 3rd deer processing FREE.
3+ deer brought in together = 10% Hunting Party Discount.
Free processing does not include beef suet, sausage, or other additional products/services.
10% Military & Veteran Discount
As a thank-you to those who have served, I offer a 10% discount to all active-duty U.S. military personnel and veterans. Valid military or veteran identification must be presented at the time of service to receive the discount; IDs will only be visually verified and will not be photographed, copied, or retained.
The discount applies to the standard deer processing charge for each deer you personally bring to me for processing. There is no requirement to bring multiple deer, and the discount is available throughout the entire processing season.
For example, if standard boneless processing is $179, the 10% military discount saves $17.90, bringing the processing charge to $161.10.
The discount applies to processing only. Additional products, ingredients, and specialty services are charged at their regular prices. This includes added beef suet, sausage, and other optional add-ons.
The military discount is intended for the active-duty service member or veteran personally receiving the processing service and does not extend to deer belonging to friends, relatives, or other members of a hunting party simply because they are brought in together.
If multiple hunters bring three or more deer together, my separate Hunting Party Discount of 10% may apply. Discounts do not stack—a military or veteran discount cannot be combined with the Hunting Party Discount or another percentage-based promotion on the same processing charge.
The 3rd Deer FREE promotion is also separate. A veteran or active-duty service member can still work toward their third deer over the course of the season, but when the third deer qualifies for FREE standard processing, there is no additional 10% discount because there is no processing charge remaining to discount.
In short: Active military and veterans receive 10% OFF standard deer processing, every time they bring me a qualifying deer.
It’s a small way for me to recognize the men and women who have served our country.
